In 1938, the Lincoln site was opened as Vista High School. It later became Lincoln Middle School. In January 2007, the school doors were closed and all middle school students moved into the new Rancho Minerva Middle School. See photos of the past and present.
Thus, a new beginning for this site, rich with history, has begun. In the fall of 2007, Vista Magnet Middle School will open to incoming 6th graders.
